As a Occupational Therapist at First Steps, you’ll have the opportunity to work with children one-on-one in the clinic & in an inclusive preschool classroom setting. You will have the flexibility to set your own schedule and the chance to work with an awesome team of pediatric therapists.

responsibilities

– Assess, diagnose, and treat disorders related to upper extremity strength and coordination, fine motor skills, visual motor skills, handwriting, self-care, sensory processing, and modulation skills

– Support families and caregivers by educating and counseling them as they and their child learn and grow

– Collaborate with other therapists and teachers on the treatment team to achieve child outcomes

– Record and maintain documentation of services and contacts within set timelines

Minimum qualifications

– Current Occupational Therapy License

– Experience with young children
