As a Classroom Lead at First Steps, you will provide developmentally appropriate learning opportunities for all children and work closely with Occupational, Physical, and Speech/Language Therapists in a classroom setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
– Conduct developmental assessments
– Gain a thorough understanding of each child’s individual challenges
– Make appropriate adaptions for children with special needs
– Maintain up-to-date documentation
– Ensure classroom designs and operations meet TN State licensing standards and the 3-Star Rating Program and Tennessee’s Early Learning Standards.
minimum qualifications
– Associates Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education or Special Education along with experience with young children or children with disabilities
OR
– High School Diploma along with child development training and at least 1 year-experience with young children or children with disabilities

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 – $18.50 per hour based on experience and education.
